The process of putting together a concert season is intriguing and fun.  We go through many ideas as we factor repertoire, themes, instrumentation, audience requests, and performer requests into the most attractive package possible.

It is then an interesting journey to bring each concert idea to performance. I liken this to the joy of pairing food and wine (my two other favorite things), where different pairings of familiar elements result in new discoveries. We hope to present to you the joy, sadness, beauty, the different “tastes” in these great chamber works and trust you will discover new insights, too.

Our final concert with world-renowned classical guitarist Eliot Fisk will feature a brilliant program of Mozart, Bach, Villa-Lobos, Vivaldi, and Paganini. This is a “one-off” event that I promise you won’t want to miss.

Family Concert at the Westport Town Farm

Join the Westport Land Conservation Trust and The Trustees of Reservations for a family concert on the grounds of the Town Farm. The South Coast Chamber Music Society will perform. Bring your own picnic suppers, chairs, blankets and flashlights. Free will donation invited.
